Ukraine faces external and internal challenges during war. These include protecting national security, fighting corruption, and preserving democracy. It will become increasingly difficult for us to receive support from international partners every year. Therefore, the government must urgently develop and implement a strategy to engage more Ukrainians abroad to advocate for Ukraine’s interests.

However, without fair rules of the game, in particular during reconstruction, we risk losing the trust of our partners and our own citizens. In order to receive more investment, we need to raise the level of trust in the courts and ultimately reform the justice system. These are the challenges that we have to tackle in the short term. Time is running out.

The greatest achievement of the newly created organization is a team of highly motivated and valuable citizens. This year, they managed to achieve outstanding results with minimal resources.We are grateful for the support of The European Endowment for Democracy and other international partners who help protect democratic values in Ukraine.
