The State Bureau of Investigations checked facts of evasion from mobilization in the civil sector based on a fake complaint.

This was stated by the head of the civic initiative “Holka,” Iryna Fedoriv:

“I received a letter from the territorial office of the State Bureau of Investigations in Khmelnytskyi Oblast in response to my alleged complaint about the alleged evasion of military service by citizen Oleksandr Salizhenko. I have never written a letter to the State Bureau of Investigations. Someone forged a complaint from me, using my personal data. I have known Salizhenko well for the past 10 years, during which we have worked together in the ‘Chesno Movement,’ and I am well aware of the reasons why he was discharged from military service. He publicly informed about this long before the full-scale war. He has a remission after oncology, and those who came up with this dirty campaign simply miscalculated at the start.”

Fedoriv emphasizes that this information campaign aims to discredit the civil sector:

This wave started immediately after 'Holka' released a research at the end of February about the Kremlin Telegram network, which targets those who are conducting judicial reform and overseeing this process, especially the leaders of the DEJURE Foundation and the Anti-Corruption Center. The lawyer's channel Rostyslav Kravets was also included in this Kremlin network, who unsuccessfully demanded that the media refute this information. We also published a series of articles about Medvedchuk's influence in the Bar Association, which has been led by Lydia Izovitova since the Yanukovych era. The fake letter to the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) from my name was sent on March 11th. That is, about a week and a half after the publication of the research results. I have already sent a request to the SBI demanding a copy of this fake appeal. Law enforcement agencies must open a criminal case and determine who forged the document.

Reminder: A bill (No. 11115) has been registered in parliament aimed at regulating the activities of Telegram, Facebook, Viber, and other social media platforms. The main author of the legislative initiative is Mykola Knyazhytsky (European Solidarity), with co-authors Mykyta Poturayev (Servant of the People) and Yaroslav Yurchyshyn (Holos).

As for the amendment to the law “On Advocacy and Advocacy Activities,” the relevant committee, headed by Denis Maslov of “Servant of the People,” is delaying the implementation of recommendations outlined in the report by the European Commission. As of today, the current version of the law remains unchanged, adopted during the time of the traitor Yanukovych. The National Bar Association of Ukraine has been led for over 10 years by Lidia Izovitova, an associate of Medvedchuk, who is accused of state treason. Under her leadership, the Association has been inactive regarding lawyers in temporarily occupied territories who are subjected to torture. Moreover, the association’s spokesperson is a former lawyer of the traitor Illia Kiva.
